DPA d:facto II - Getting a handle on things

Test i Gearbox april 2013
“The d:facto II is a modular condenser microphone, at the heart of which is a 4018V capsule. The modularity means the capsule can be removed from the cabled “handle” and attached instead to an adapter which allows it to mate with Shure and other wireless mic transmitters in place of their factory capsules. Clever.

DPA d:facto II Supercardioid Vocal Microphone

Test i AudioMedia april 2013
“The result is a system with excellent technical specifications, whilst remaining integral to a sense of clever, but very musically orientated design.” Ben Burns

ZT Amplifiers Lunchbox Junior Guitar Amplifier

Test i Premier Guitar 01/2013

Test i Musikkultur 12/2012

Studiologic Sledge

Test i Musikkpraksis 6/2012

Tube-Tech RM Series

Test i Musikkpraksis

DPA d:fine headset mic

Test i Professional Sound april 2012
I’ve consistently found that one of the most frustrating aspects of mixing corporate or public speaking events is agreeing on a microphone that the user will fi nd comfortable and that will also yield an intelligible and consistent sound for the audience.
I often hear requests from speakers with long presentations for a lav or lapel-style clip-on mic, placed somewhere around their chest. Due to the length of time for which the mic will be used, many presenters prefer not to hold onto a handheld mic or sport one of the larger and more cumbersome headset mics;

TC-Helicon VoiceLive Rack

Test i EMusician februar 2012
Voicelive Rack (VLR) adds a more studio/live sound overlay to the performance-oriented VoiceLive Touch. VLR is more complex, more capable, and more expensive, but folds in multiple pro options in addition to TC-Helicon“trademark” features like an obvious interface, excellent sound quality, and keying harmonies to guitar, MIDI, or MP3 input.

DPA live Instrument Microphones

Test i Audio Media mars 2011
Clip microphones are one of those very simple yet ingenious ideas like the invention of the wheel. The distance between the microphone and the sound source will stay the same as the musician moves, allowing the proximity effect and phasing to remain stable. This means variable factors of the sound are less, and therefore the result is more closely down to just the musician’s performance, allowing him or her to feel comfortable and able to express their playing with ease and control.

Eastern Acoustic Works KF740

Test i AudioTechnology september 2009
Here’s a turn-up for the books: an EAW line array, hand assembled in Australia. That’s right. The latest mid-sized, blue-ribbon PA from New England innovators, EAW, ‘made’ in Mitcham! Actually, perhaps I should clarify that statement… let’s go back a few steps
